Jane eats Botak’s Western food!
May 3rd, 2007 by janetalksBasically, i got to know this place from a TV show, apparently owned by some american-botak-ang moh who wanted to blend in with the locals by calling himself botak and selling his food on HDB block kopitiam. Talk about blending… When i saw the food they serve, man, i tell you, it is wicked esp this burger.
Ironically, this burger’s name is exactly what you will be thinking or those around you be thinking - U-Crazy-What?! It has 3 patties of beef, (made from scratch) and melted cheese all over it. If you wish to put on weight, just eat this a couple of times, i guarantee you… you will definately put on weight. Truthfully speaking, i ate the 1-patty burger that day and man, i tell you.. i couldn’t finish everything cos the large no. of fries and i didnt even add cheese on my burger. One kind of promotion i recommend this place to do - "Finish the whole plate of U-Crazy-what?! and pay nothing" I seriously doubt not many can do it.
Though they recommend their burgers as their specialty dish, i highly recommend their fish n chips for those who have a normal, non-challenging eating pattern like me.
It could be the tartar sauce they make, it goes well with the fishy and o… the fries, not any ordinary fries, but mixed with spicy salts… i think. You should taste it.
Think the only thing i didn’t like about that place is the environment. Tons of young people go there and eat which makes the place like a kopitiam.. wait a min… that place is a kopitiam. Well, just a little rowdy and noisy for my taste. Botak should open a restaurant or something…
So here it is, my this week’s recommendation -
