God’s glory is ONLY shined thru us!
Wednesday, May 31st, 2006"Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus answered," Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him" (Mat 9:1-3)
As i was reading this part of the Bible yesterday, this verse became alive in me & i felt the Holy Spirit telling me from this sentence "BLIND from birth"… Now replace the word Blind with words such as poor, lame, unwanted, insecure, messed up, Big Nose, Ache faced etc… and you will know that many of us are not born perfect.
However, felt that God is encouraging me thru this verse, though we may not have the perfect ground to grow in, but like Pst Tan said, we are seeds made out of the best quality. No matter which ground we fall on, we have the ability to make the best of with what we have and still shine for God. God wants to work thru us and thru our situations so that His glory can be seen by all men. So you can forget about those thoughts when u feel injustifed or you feeling than others are better than you. The truth is that your moment with God has not come. Delay is never denial. The man was blind from birth (He could be a old man, who knows how many years he waited) but one day, he met with Jesus & his life was never the same again. So don’t think that it is your fault or your parents fault that you are born with imperfects. God is setting us up for a miracle and that His glory will shine ever brighter. Praise God.
