Taking care the temple of God

Ok… after a long break and ppl asking me why i have not blogged for such a long time, i shall once again blog. Don’t know is it because i am lazy or is it because i have no inspiration. Well, i think is both but i do appreciate your enthusiasm of reading my thoughts btw… even more excited than myself. Haha…

Anyway, i have been wanting to write about this since 2 weeks ago after buying some books on nutrition and stuff but have been putting it off because of laziness. However, after the cg msg on healing, i learned that God wants us to sustain in our health, not wanting us to be sick all the time. So therefore, i always think that it is important to take care of ones health because Bible says so.. that we are the temple of God and we must not defile it neither must we spoil it because of our irresponsiblity of not wanting to live right.

I remembered when i was young, my dad used to take my bro and i out jogging. One time, my dad collapsed from a minor heart attack and i was only about 9-10 years old. It was something that i never forget and from then on, i decided i want to eat right and live healthy… cos i never want to end up collapsing from a faint heart. Before that, i loved eating laksa and nasi bryani but after that incident, i have never taken both of these foods ever again. No kidding..

So just to share some facts that i have read about on the books that i have bought. So if you have Type ‘O’ blood, you will benefit from reading this. If you have other types of blood… sorry…

FACTS ON FOOD FOR TYPE ‘O’ BLOOD PEOPLE:-

- Eat lean beef, lamb, turkey, chicken or fish as often as you wish. The more stressful your job or demanding your exercise program, the higher grade of protein you should eat. This is because type ‘o’s thrive for animal protein. However, do avoid pork, bacon & ham.

- Avoid diary products such as cheese, milk, yogurt etc as our system is not designed for their proper metabolism and it is more difficult to digest, however you can replace them with soya products or calcium supplements.

- Avoid grains, bread and pasta cos type ‘o’ do not tolerate whole wheat products at all because they results in weight gain due to inefficient metabolism causing food to slowly convert to energy so it store itself as fat.

- Eat as much veges as possible but avoid corn n cauliflower.

- Avoid oranges or fruit with high acid content n its tendency to increase intestinal toxicity

Main_notunein_1  Last night, i was watching this British TV Program called "Super Nanny" and i must say that i am impressed with this lady who has 15 years of experience in childcare or what i call Boo-Boo fixer…

Kids are not longer the same as the ones before… with what they are watching on TV, the high tech toys they play and the teaching they learn in school… no wonder they are no longer as innocent as they are suppose to be. What i learnt from the show was that a parent’s role to a child is very very important. How the child turns out to be will determine what he/she will become. So as a parent, the way u protrait your leadership is very important.

Have you ever watched the show ‘Malcom in the Middle’… man, i tell you… that mother has strong n aggressive leadership.. So strong, the kids think twice before creating trouble infront of her. Another type of leadership is letting the children do whatever they want, without installing discipline & rules resulting in screaming, abusive, rude, spoiled, irresponsible brat. Why do people ever want to have children??

Truth of the matter is, every person borned out of this world needs to be trained to be a better person. Without it, the negative & corrupt nature that comes with us will lead to distractive & lifestyle that one couldn’t imagine. So if are in any position where you are a parent or in some leadership position, the ability to change a person’s life is under your hands. I feel that everyone of us needs a ‘trainer’, ‘teacher’, ‘parent’ or ‘SuperNanny’ but most of all, a leader in our lives so that under their covering, we can become better people.

Hmmm… sadly enough, no one commented on what i should write on my blog this week except my member, Louisa. So, i shall take her only suggestion and write it for my entry this week. Thanks Louisa…. without your suggestion, i may not have anything to write today.

Just in case you are wondering, "What did Louisa ask me to write??" As some of you know, esp the ones closer to me, you know that i am crazy abt the american comedy sitcom "F.R.I.E.N.D.S"… yeah… i watched it all the time! Esp when i had a rough day or when i am unhappy, watching the show really makes me laugh and it usually takes my sorrows away. I never get sick of watching it cos there are 10 seasons of it to watch. The day when they stopped running it, I was quite sad but i guess all good things do come to an end.

I must admit that not everyone around me likes Friends but if you are a big fan like me… here is TOP 10 reason why i love to watch FRIENDS:-

10. Helps me to bond with people who loves to watch FRIENDS as well. Is nice to laugh together with someone who enjoys the same humour as i do.

9. The cast: Everyone looks so good in every season except season 1.

8. The ability to help me relate to my group of friends as well…. ability to accept each other for who we are & not matter what place we are in our lives, we can share joy & hurts together.

7. Takes my sorrows away even after a long hard day.

6. Almost 25% of my expressions/impressions comes from this show… Aha…

5. The Theme song… I have that in my mobile ringtone when my friends call me.

4. How it never makes me bored from watching it no matter how many times i watched it. I can watch it forever!

3. Seeing Monica fat, Rachel’s nose still long, Joey’s pervertness, Ross failing 3 marriages/love for dinosaurs, Phoebe’s ugly wardrobe for all seasons and Chandler’s jokes & wit.

2. Hilarious episodes includes "The Routine" & "The Unagi".

1. What more can i say? It is witty, hiliarious, funny, outrageous, awesome, absolutely fantastic… want to encourage you if you are reading this, go rent a copy of the FRIENDS series… you won’t regret.
