Your generousity will bring you a great harvest

Wednesday, September 28th, 2005

2 nights ago, my dad said something that struck me.. "Jane… I drunk 2 cans of your lemon drink, i am now returning 2 packs(which contains 6 cans per pack) back to u.." I am thinking… 2 packs? but u only drunk 2 cans..

I think i am quite a generous person in nature because of the seed of generousity that was placed in me from both my parents. Why do i say that? One time, my mum took one(only one) mentos sweet from my sis and the next moment, she bought the whole box of mentos just to return to my sis the ONE mentos that she had. Don’t you think both of them make a lovely couple.. so generous.

What my father said to me reminded me of how our Heavenly Father will do for us. Bible says when we give to the poor, we are lending to the Lord and God will give us back with good interest. God will not short change us everytime when we give to Him.. The Bible says that if man knows how to give good gifts to his/her children, how much God our Father will withhold good things from His children.

Conclusion: Have faith in your giving… never think of it as a donation where ur money will never be returned to u, think of it as seed… that once it is sowed on good ground(which is the word of God), it will reap a great harvest.

All i need is You….All i need is You, Lord, Is You Lord

Sunday, September 25th, 2005

As i worshipped God during service yesterday, the words of the song began to strike my heart.. "All i need is You, All i need is You Lord, is You Lord…." I repented before God because for the past few weeks since the building fund, i questioned God on my blessings. Fine… look at me in a different way but i am still 100% human so sometimes, naughty questions n doubts began to fall on me and my face turns green with envy esp when u hear someone else has received a tremedous amount of blessing from the Lord because of his/her obedience but here you are still sowing seeds faithfully and wondering when is ur harvest coming.

I guess God was sick of my whining so He send me the Holy Spirit to wake me up from my senses. Truth is, everyone has needs in their life. It maybe a different kind of need but it is still a need. I wish for a bigger bank account or maybe a mini couper or career advancement but all seems faraway. The harder i jumped, the further it goes away from me. After all that jumping, one grows tired and squarts down grumbling what is going on.

Ok, revelation coming up.. We want many things in life, but what we really need most is Jesus. Ultimately, when u have Jesus, everything in your life is being settled for and whatever u need, God provides. Sometimes, we can be focus on what we want on earth because it provides us for the NOW but we fail to see the FUTURE which are all in God’s hands. "You hold the universe, You hold everyone on earth… You hold the universe… You hold… You hold.." God holds the universe in His hand like a basketball.. well, in imaginary world. What can He not do for You or withhold from His children because He is the world’s best giver and rewarder to those who seek Him diligently.

Thank you, Jesus..

Is abt the Moon, the lanterns and the Green Tea Mooncake

Sunday, September 18th, 2005

I must say that last weekend was the best mid-autumn celebration that i ever had for the past 25 years. Basically, i lost all info of pass mid-autumn festivals during which i am a kid but on the other hand, i don’t even recall things that had happened 1 week ago.. (*_*)

Sunday, i had huge steamboat dinner with family but Sat was awesome because of the great setting of the full moon, the atmosphere of mid-autumn and most importantly, being in the company of great people whom i call CG members. Even though most of us added up together to be 500 years old, but that didn’t stop us from lighting up our lanterns or forming a line singing some chinese melody tune apparently coming out from a ultraman lantern. Hahaha… i can’t seem to get that image off my mind… opps.. Cheers to everyone in team 1 who managed to escape the plague. That was a close one…

Meanwhile, here are some highlights to remember this weekend by:

Meanwhile, here are top 10 interesting things that happened that day: (Highly requested by my cgm)

Brucelee

I went for my hair cut yesterday. So sad that i lost all my coloured hair strips in just 1 hour… Sob.. And apparently i have a stunning resemblance of the late Lee Xiao Long aka Bruce Lee. Those of you who are too young to even know he exist but he is a great fighter in the 60s & 70s. Quite a legend to make a great impact not only in the Asian movies but also in hollywood, not easy for an Asian. So here’s a fun photo vote for you to choose which photo of me looks at Bruce Lee the most. Vote in comments section even if you don’t think my hairstyle looks like his, do comment also… this is going to be fun..

WHICH PHOTO DO I LOOK LIKE MOST OF BRUCE LEE…Image346 Image347 Image345

Argh… has it been that long?

Monday, September 5th, 2005

Oh dear, is really been a long time since i last blogged. Very bad.. very bad… Thought that i cut down 3 times a week very bad already.. now i reduced to just once a week? Bad Janey.. bad gal…

Just so you know that i had a long week last week, having to experience joy and sadness in all 1 week. Eventful i must say. I had to attend a cremation service and a wedding all in the same weekend. Confusing emotionally actually.. Haha

I had the opportunity to be "ah yee" for my good friend’s wedding. Jennifer if you are reading this, i am so happy for you and David. Finally, your dream came true. Now can go to your next dream of becoming a mother. Haha.. Indeed getting wedding is a very tiring thing, i was totally knocked out after the whole thing. Jennifer looked so tired too… having to unpin her hair while i drove her back home. Guess how many pins were on her head?? 72!! She thought her head was bleeding or something. Not easy.. seriously.. However, it was indeed a great joy to see my good friend get married. It was my first but it won’t be my last. Haha… Those of you who want me to be your "Ah Yee"… i will only be doing this ONCE a year…  haha…
